Advanced Carbon Finance Seminar – New for 2009
Recognizing the need for his unique expertise and the demand for a more advanced course, Peter Fusaro has partnered with Jerry Levey, an experienced emissions broker and Ron Borod, an experienced lawyer in carbon securitization to share their real world insights on carbon finance.

This half-day course is different from the introductory course on carbon trading and finance. It includes an intensive 3 hours of how to create carbon credits, how to monetize these credits through structured finance and how to make money in carbon finance. Each of our three experts is deeply involved in both US and international carbon markets. Specifically, we will explain how to do a carbon deal under the Kyoto Protocol and explain its relevance to US markets.

Our experts have worked on carbon deals and brokered and traded these credits. It’s a hands-on session which will prove invaluable to investors, hedge funds and other financial houses that want to learn the best techniques for managing a carbon footprint through the financial markets.
